Breakfast (8:45 a.m.)
French Toast (2 slices Nature’s Own extra-fiber whole wheat bread–1 Point; 1 egg beaten with pinch Splenda and a little cinnamon and cloves; pan sprayed with butter-flavored cooking spray)
Fruit Compote (1 cup frozen berries stewed with a little Splenda)
Glass of skim milk
- This was filling enough that I only ate 3/4 of it. However, within three hours, I was hungry again, since the one egg I used to cook this with wasn’t really enough protein to tide me over.
Exercise (11:45 a.m.)
1-Mile Leslie Sansone “Walk Away the Pounds” DVD
- I pulled out the 1 mile disc because I haven’t been exercising regularly for the past couple of months. I could probably have done the 2-Mile workout, because this one barely got my heart rate up to about 110, but I wanted to ease into it. I may do this one again later in the afternoon.
Lunch (12:15 p.m.)
Home-made vegetable beef soup
Salad w/lite dressing (2 points)
- This afternoon, I made a run to Publix to pick up some more pomegranates and salad stuff. They have HUGE poms on 2/$5, so I got several. The only problem with eating them is that they stain my fingernails. But it’s worth it, since they’re one of my favorite things about autumn.
Snack (around 4 p.m.)
94% fat free popcorn
Dinner (around 7:30 p.m.)
Pork chop
Edamame
Dessert (around 9 p.m.)
Pomegranate
